Winner of VISA Slovak Top Shop, Honey store, VISA, 2022

Včelovina Honey store secured 1st place in the main category of VISA Slovak Top Shop for the best store of the year. The decision was made by a 13-member jury based on the evaluation of customer experience. The Visa Slovak Top Shop competition is analogous to the Michelin stars awarded to restaurants.

Our store received an award for May in VISA SLOVAK TOP SHOP. The Visa Slovak Top Shop competition is analogous to the Michelin stars awarded to restaurants. Incognito inspectors visit and evaluate each month’s nominated stores. From the 12 winners of individual months, the final jury determines the overall ranking of the best stores of the year.

Our mead distillate – „Medovec dozrievaný“, received the Golden Danube Distillate award in this edition. The goal of this unique tasting competition was to select the 25 best Slovak spirits for the 2016/2017 edition and present them to both the general and professional public.

In 2017, our Honeycraft Classic Mead received the golden award. This golden award („Zlatý klas“) is an award presented at the international agricultural fair by the Czech Minister of Agriculture. It is held annually in České Budějovice at the Země živitelka exhibition.

The WINE OF THE YEAR competition is a project where the best Slovak wines are decided by voting by those for whom the winemakers create their wine. So it’s a public vote. In the 7th year of this competition, the mead category was also added, where Včelovina Original won 1st place.

Our mead distillate – „Medovec klasický“, won the Golden Danube Distillate award in this year’s competition. The aim of this unique tasting competition was to select the top 25 Slovak spirits for the 2014/2015 season and present them to both the lay and professional public.

For the first time in history, the World Federation of Beekeepers awarded the title “World’s Best Mead,” choosing to honor our mead. Včelovina Special thus not only received a gold medal but also this most prestigious title.
